Exciting  New  Plants Stall

Whiteley Nursery from Pudsey is our new plant stall. They are booked to come every month from April to October. They will bring herbs, fruit plants (April-Strawberries, blueberries), fruit trees, vegetable plants (April- broad beans, onion plugs, tomatoes) and annual and perennial flowers and shrubs. The plants will change throughout the year to include brassica plugs, and different kinds of fruit and they particularly specialise in different kinds of salad plants. So whether you want to grow your own fruit and veg, have fresh herbs for your cooking or just sit and admire your beautiful flowers they will have something for you.

Volunteers Needed
To ensure that the market runs smoothly and is ready to start at 9am, the stalls have to be assembled at 7.15 am. We are very lucky to have volunteers and young workers (mostly from Lawnswood School) who get themselves up on a Saturday morning and assemble all the stalls ready for the stallholders and dismantle them again at 12.30. We appreciate the commitment of our volunteers - even on a very occasional basis. If you would like to volunteer please email kim@headingleydevelopmenttrust.org.uk
